Amanda Nelson

Amanda Nelson has over two decades of experience on political and issue campaigns focusing on conservation, education, and workers’ rights. Now based in rural Washington, she has worked extensively in Western and Southern states on campaigns ranging from school boards to presidential primaries. She has previously served as a union political director in Texas, run coordinated campaigns in Arizona, and designed a field program that flipped a Washington statewide election.

Her combined experience in data driven programs and in the field messaging allows her to look at any campaign from a variety of angles, and help find the pathways to a victory. She has earned national recognition for her work including being honored with an American Association of Political Consultants 40 under 40 Award.

When she is not on the campaign trail, she can probably be found on a national park trail or with the cat that inspired the logo, Aspen.

Samantha Davis

“Electricity is really just organized lightning.” That George Carlin line has long guided Samantha “Sam” Davis’ approach to political work, reflecting her belief that energy, when focused and organized, can create real change. Davis is a campaign consultant who draws from a broad range of specialized experience, combining the insight of an organizer with the eye of an analyst.

Davis has worked locally and nationally for advocacy organizations, labor unions, and PACs; and she has served as a senior staffer for the Pennsylvania Democratic Party Coordinated Campaign and as a state and national senior staffer on two Democratic presidential primary campaigns. Her work spans partisan and nonpartisan efforts, including issue based campaigns focused on Medicare for All, environmental conservation and protection, and water rights.

Davis holds graduate work in nonprofit management and formal training in political studies, including through The Johns Hopkins University. Her work continues to focus on turning big ideas into organized lightning and campaigns that make a real impact.
